I think both of the above need to have the word "emit" written on them somewhere. Perhaps a logo which can be used with image and text together or both seperate - Loose.
For me logo 1 lacks balance there is too much white space in the bottom left. The introduction of a heavy black outline around the entire logo may alleviate this? That way there would be consistency in its entirety but internal contrast within the border. At the moment the design seems to 'leak' out.
I still like the concept of logo 2 but feel the weight of the lines needs adjusting to create more interest. Equally I still think there could be more white space between the circle and its indentation. The over-hang of the 'T' also presents an opportunity to introduce the word 'emit' neatly down the side.
I have just started an Interactive Media HND (Web Design) and will be using this blog as my Personal Learning Journal. It will be used to record my progress, ideas and also to recieve feedback from other members of the group.
