Update

I have scrapped together another version of the design, this time in photoshop so it is a bit neater..... I have change the navigation.

The only thing that I am not sure about is the white space between the terminologies. How do everyone feel about that. If i want the images to be there it is how it will have to be.

please let me know what you think!
thanks
Gary

p.s. Im thinking of having half (5) of each subject on one page and then at the bottom a link to the next page with content from the same subject. eg: 5 hardware terms then a link to page 2, to get to the last 5 hardware terms. This will split the info up and give me more to work with regards to file size.

p.p.s. Content is not finalized yet. Please don't comment on that yet.

I know what you mean about the white space- is there no chance of having smaller images? This will reduce the white space AND the file size- all round advantages!

Hi Gary

Tom must have read my mind there with the file sizes. Perhaps reduce the size of the header image.

Looking good though.

Hi Gary

I like the look of your website, I think with the layout of the website itself it will make it a lot easier for the "Silver surfers" to navigate through the pages which will be an advantage.

I like the header and the navigation of the website and I think it fits in well with the target audience.

I think that you definately benefit it you could reduce the size of the images as Tom and Shaun have suggested.

Are you going to put a title in the header, or have you just missed it off the visual?.

I agree with Tom and Shaun and believe the leading should only be equal to the maximum of three lines of space. If you require these white space you could break them up with lines or dots of text, therefore not adding to the overall size.
