Over the last few days I have been making a few changes to my online journal to it more accessible. I think I'm happier knowing that my information can be accessed by allot more people than before. After all without visitors what is the point in creating a website? I think the thing is you need to make the website open for as many people to access as you can. Even if this means loosing some of the more aesthetically pleasing parts of the design. So be it! As we keep getting told this is the user's website not our own. They want information - CONTENT IT KING.
I have tried to follow some of the guidelines set out on w3.org
If you have any problems with accessing my journal then please let me know via the comment feature or if you have any suggestions on how I could improve.

I think that your blog is an improvement to how it was before, Gary, but I think that a fixed, centred design would be better. This is because they aren’t liquid like your current one. As I use a huge 24inch monitor, reading involves a lot of head movement as the ‘line length’ (look it up for brownie points off Steve) is huge (211 characters!), where as a fixed width one would be easier to read.
Centre alignment will also become more and more popular (I predict) as more and more people make the switch to 16:9/16:10 widescreen monitors, and would be a good choice when picking a new template.
i like your new blog theme alot, its alot better than the template that are on here, you'll have to help me design one for myself.
